It is always a surprise going into the office because at Let’s Get Digital you will be surprised weekly. We strive to make our employees always feel appreciated for all the hard work and great ideas they deliver. However, this week we wanted to make them feel extra valued. That is why we organized a week of getting valued, full of compliments, surprises, and treats!
Monday
On Mondays we start with a motivational speech and a company breakfast weekly. This motivational speech was about getting valued and the importance of it. We start the week with a scheme of compliments for each department. The idea behind it is that everybody in the company compliments a department by giving them positive feedback in our system and giving someone from the department a personal compliment in-person. We started the week by complimenting our development department. In addition to the compliments, one of our employees made special cakes for everybody to enjoy throughout the day.
Tuesday
Today was compliment the sales department day, many feedback was given and received leading to a lot of smiling faces. In addition to the compliments, some surprises have been planned for everybody in the company, starting today with a massage. Time slots had been planned with our employees and two masseuses made sure everybody in the office felt relaxed.
Wednesday
The delivery department got very valued on Wednesday. Our systems got an overload of compliments for the people that make sure to always help everybody. But the compliments were once again not the only way to show appreciation on this day. We have asked our employees what their favourite food is and made sure everybody got his or her favourite dish for lunch! We have never had such a varied lunch buffet, meals varying from pasta and pizza, to tapas, poke bowls and curries.
Thursday
On Thursday we showed appreciation to our Internal services and Marketing. Both departments were overflowing with kind words and great compliments. But not only did they receive compliments… Everybody in the office received a treat, a chocolate bar with a personalized card. The cards were written by the managers and team leads and contained a personalized poem for their team members. Many of the bars of chocolate did not make it until the end of the day.
Friday
On the last day of the week of getting valued we still had some departments to compliment that could not be missed out on. MT, Board, and Leads were showered with love by their fellow employees. We ended this week, with a special activity in the evening accompanied with a Let’s Get Digital Cocktail, a fun games competition, and burritos for dinner whilst feeling very valued.
